Starter Kit ARC-170 Fighter: The powerful ancestor of the X-Wing

Star Wars fans often shy away from replicating their favorite spaceships because the hurdle seems too high: Which glue do I need? Which colors are the right ones? With the starter kit for the ARC-170 Fighter we remove these obstacles. You will receive a perfectly tailored all-round package that allows you to get started with model building straight away. Whether you're looking for a gift for a young Padawan or want to fill the gap in your Clone Trooper fleet yourself, here's everything you need to get started and create a piece of the galaxy.

Why this set belongs in your hangar bay

• Ready to go straight away: The set already includes the matching basic colors, a brush and the tube of glue - no need to purchase accessories.
• Full crew: In contrast to many other models, three clone trooper pilot figures are included here, which bring the model to life.
• Battle mode: The characteristic S-wings can be fanned out to simulate the dynamic attack position.
• Impressive width: With a wingspan of 15.5 cm, the hunter appears very present despite its compact length of 10 cm.
• Detailed technology: Finely crafted engines and authentic weaponry ensure a realistic look.
• Easy to get started: With 21 parts and level 3, you will quickly achieve a sense of achievement without being overwhelmed by complexity.

The ARC-170 (Aggressive ReConnaissance) is not just a hunter; he is a flying tank. This model perfectly captures the power and aggressive aesthetic of the original. When you bring the S-wings into attack position, you immediately recognize the design relationship to the later X-wing of the Rebel Alliance.

The construction process is entertaining and thanks to the included Aqua Color paints, you can immediately give the ship the right coat of paint. Especially painting the three tiny crew members (pilot, co-pilot and tail gunner) is a great exercise for your fine motor skills. In the end, you'll have a sturdy model in your hands that's ready to go into battle for the Republic.

Background information

The ARC-170 starfighter was the Republic's heaviest workhorse at the time of the Clone Wars. Built by the Incom Corporation, it is considered a direct technological forerunner of the legendary T-65 X-Wing. Unlike the light TIE fighters or Jedi interceptors, the ARC-170 was designed for long-range missions and deep penetrations into enemy territory. Its massive armament and three-man crew made it a fearsome enemy. With this model you bring home the ship that covered the flanks of the Jedi Knights in the opening battle of "Revenge of the Sith".
