Shipping policy

We want your order to arrive safely and as quickly as possible. Below you will find everything you need to know about how we ship, how long delivery takes and what to do if your order is late or lost. For damaged or incorrect items, please see our Returns and Refunds Policy.
Order Processing
Orders placed before 12:00 noon on a working day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after midday, or on a weekend or bank holiday, will be dispatched on the next working day.
You will receive a dispatch confirmation email as soon as your order leaves us. This will include your tracking number where a tracked service is being used.
United Kingdom Delivery
We offer two delivery options for all UK orders. Free Standard delivery is available on orders of £50 or over.

Scottish Highlands, Islands and Remote Areas
Some destinations in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man may incur an additional carrier surcharge and can take longer to arrive. If your postcode falls within one of these areas, the correct rate will be shown at checkout. If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order.
Northern Ireland
We ship to Northern Ireland using the same rates and services as mainland UK. Standard and Express options are available and free shipping applies on orders of £50 or over.
Click and Collect
We offer free Click and Collect from both of our stores. Simply select Click and Collect at checkout and choose your preferred location.

You will receive an email notification when your order is ready to collect. Please bring your order confirmation email or quote your order number when you arrive. We will hold your order for 7 days. If it has not been collected within that time, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
European Delivery
We currently ship to the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain. Free shipping is available on orders of £150 or over.

Customs and Import Duties
Since the United Kingdom left the European Union, all orders shipped to EU countries are subject to customs procedures. Your order may be held at customs on arrival and you may be asked to pay import duties or local VAT before it can be released for delivery. These charges are set by your country's customs authority and are outside our control.
We recommend checking the import rules and duty thresholds for your country before ordering. If you are unsure, please get in touch and we will do our best to advise.
United States
We ship to the United States via a fully tracked international service. Free shipping is available on orders of £150 or over.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
Orders shipped to the United States may be subject to customs duties or taxes on arrival. These charges are determined by US customs and are the responsibility of the recipient. Orders above the US de minimis threshold of USD $800 may be subject to import duties. We recommend checking current US import rules if you are placing a high-value order.
Canada
We ship to Canada via a fully tracked international service. Free shipping is available on orders of £150 or over.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to customs duties, taxes or brokerage fees on arrival. These charges are determined by the Canada Border Services Agency and are the responsibility of the recipient. Please note that Canada's de minimis threshold is considerably lower than that of the United States, so import charges are more likely on higher-value orders.
Australia
We ship to Australia via a fully tracked international service. Free shipping is available on orders of £150 or over.

Orders shipped to Australia may be subject to customs duties or import taxes on arrival. These charges are determined by the Australian Border Force and are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking current Australian import rules before placing your order.
Tracking Your Order
A tracking number will be included in your dispatch confirmation email for all tracked services. You can use this to monitor your delivery via the carrier's website. Please allow a few hours after receiving your dispatch email for tracking information to become active.
If you have not received a dispatch confirmation within 2 working days of placing your order, please contact us at shop@harburnhobbies.co.uk and we will look into it for you.
Late or Lost Orders
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays can occasionally occur due to high carrier volumes, adverse weather or customs processing for international orders. If your order has not arrived within the timeframes below, please contact us and we will investigate.

We are unable to ship to destinations not listed in this policy. If you are based outside our current shipping zones and would like to place an order, please contact us at shop@harburnhobbies.co.uk and we will do our best to help.
