Before the railways, Britain's waterways were used to transport goods and fuel around the country and canals were built to link major towns and cities by water. Narrow Boats provided floating dwellings for those who wanted to live on the water and today, they can be found across the country still in use as homes for many or as pleasure craft for holidays and day trips. This Narrow Boat named 'Kingfisher' joins a growing range of waterway models from Scenecraft, including the Canal Lock which will make an impressive feature on any layout.
