The 1970s saw the entrance of new Soviet armor in the shape of the T72M1, envisaged as a replacement for the T-62 tank. This plastic model assembly kit of the T72M1 faithfully captures the compact gun and low silhouette, right down to the rough surfaces of the cast metal hull. Modelers can choose to recreate the T72M1 in Soviet or Middle East spec, and the kit also includes photo-etched parts to recreate netting over the engine grilles, plus vinyl tubing for supplementary fuel tank lines, and even springs - the result is a highly detailed finish. A figure is also provided.
