Black Friday is coming to Harburn Hobbies, with six weeks of locomotive offers and a new surprise revealed each week.
Starting 12 October 2026 at 10am, selected locomotives will be available at 20% off for seven days, before a new offer takes its place the following Monday. The promotion will run across six weekly offers through October and November.
A New Offer Every Week
Rather than one Black Friday discount running across the whole store, Harburn Hobbies is taking a different approach.
Each week, selected locomotives will be placed into the spotlight, with a new offer launching every seven days. The brand and eligible models will be revealed when each weekly offer begins, so there will be something new to discover throughout the promotion.
The six offer periods are:
12 October – 19 October
19 October – 26 October
26 October – 2 November
2 November – 9 November
9 November – 16 November
16 November – 23 November
All changeovers take place at 10am UK time.
20% Off Selected Locomotives
During each weekly promotion, selected locomotives will be available at 20% off their normal selling price.
The offer applies only to the models included in that week's Black Friday collection, rather than every locomotive from the featured brand.
There is no promotional code to enter. Eligible prices are applied automatically during the relevant offer period.
Discover Something New
With a different offer arriving each week, the promotion is also an opportunity to explore the wider Harburn Hobbies locomotive range, from steam and diesel locomotives to electric traction, industrial locomotives and shunters.
Whether you're looking for a particular type of locomotive or simply waiting to see what appears next, there's something new to discover throughout the six-week promotion.
Online and In Store
The Black Friday locomotive offers are available both online and at the Harburn Hobbies shops in Beer and Edinburgh.
Customers can also use in-store pickup on eligible products, with availability shown on product pages. Product availability can vary between stores and online.
