Harburn Hobbies, Edinburgh, has a long history being first established in the 1930's and has been Scotland's premier model shop for many years under the ownership of Bob and Gill Baird until it was sold to Peco in the spring of 2025. The shop is conveniently located at 67 Elm Row, on the Leith Walk. Only 10 minutes walk from Princess Street and Waverly Station. What is more the Tram stops right outside the door at McDonald Road Halt.

There is also Harburn Hobbies, Beer, a shop which has been located at the HQ of Peco since1975. Together these two shops offer a wonderful personal service to customers. All the staff are very knowledgeable and can give lots of advice when needed about a whole host of subjects.

Both shops specialise in Model Railways, selling items in all popular scales, stocking a vast number of products from locomotives, all types of rolling stock to the smallest of scenic items. Many of those items you perhaps did not realise you needed to make your model railway complete.

What is more, we stock a vast range of souvenir items, all very suitable for the many tourists that visit Edinburgh and Beer.
