DETAILS
The Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST tank locomotives were built between 1943 and 1964 by the Hunslet Engine Company and other companies, a total of 485 of these locomotives were produced and were mainly used for shunting and freight services. After 1946 the LNER purchased the remaining locomotives, turning them into the J94 class.
These models feature all sort of period specific details including handrails, detailed buffer beams, and applied livery designs.
This locomotive is DCC ready and the decoder socket is located inside the smokebox and is easily accessed via the magnetic smokebox door.
